About the Role
Do you want to build a career working on Minecraft servers? We are looking for a full-time Minecraft Network Configurator to configure and maintain the systems behind our networks. You will make sure new features are properly integrated, and work closely with our developers and project manager to deliver quality gaming experiences.
We operate the Pika and Jartex Minecraft networks, with roughly 6 million unique players a year. We are a remote team of 12 who value ownership, respect, collaboration and creative input.
What You'll Do
- Configure plugins and server settings across different Minecraft game modes
- Maintain and update servers based on project requirements and technical documentation
- Test new features thoroughly before they go to QA
- Collaborate with developers, producers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Participate in regular team meetings and project planning
What We're Looking For
- Full-time availability of 32–40 hours per week (we can accommodate part-time study)
- Some form of working experience
- Previous experience configuring Minecraft servers is strongly preferred
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Reliability and accountability: your work directly impacts millions of players
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the team
- Genuine passion for Minecraft and game development
- Located within the GMT timezone (±6 hours)
